Venting issues for sink and toilet

Discussion in 'Social' started by Wade Alexander, Oct 8, 2018.

  1. [IMG] I’m working on remodeling my bathroom to fix some problems that my grandparents let slide by. One of the goals was to put in a zero entry shower which meant lowering the floor and since joists would need to be sistered etc I just gutted the whole room. When putting it all back together I was looking into proper venting for the various fixtures and determined the sink was too far from the main stack for it to be used as a vent and I’m concerned that the toilet might also need some closer venting. Would the sink vent - I plan on using an AAV - be sufficient for venting the toilet as illustrated above? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
