No Bluetooth option anywhere in Windows

Discussion in 'Main Forum' started by Black Thunder, Sep 12, 2018.

  1. I am using Windows 8.1 Pro and trying to enable bluetooth but I don't see any option to enable it. I visited:

    • System Tray
    • Change PC settings
    • Control Panel
    • services.msc

Non of these helped. I remember that I used bluetooth to share some files about a month ago in Windows 10 but later I switched to Windows 8. This is really surprising behavior for me. I have included some screenshots below:

    PC settings:

    Windows Search:

    services.msc:

I tried connecting external bluetooth which worked and all the options showed up.
This is the link to my laptop softwares on official hp site: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-elitebook-8460p-notebook-pc/5056942 .

How do I enable my bluetooth and why is it not showing up?
